RCSI & UCD Malaysia Campus (RUMC) is a private medical university located in George Town, Penang, Malaysia. RUMC is a joint school of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and University College Dublin, which are amongst Ireland’s top health sciences universities. The undergraduate medicine program is structured in alignment with the academic frameworks of both parent institutions.

The five-year undergraduate medicine program leads to the degree awarded by the National University of Ireland (NUI). During the pre-clinical phase in Dublin, Ireland students rotate through affiliated hospitals and clinics, gaining hands-on experience in physical examinations and patient care within real healthcare settings after which the students spend the clinical phase in Penang, Malaysia.
